Tico
Tico from baKno Games is a very simple, but elegantly designed falling blocks game. Shapes made of blocks drop from the top. As the shapes fall, they can be rotated or moved horizontally with the aim of filling every space at the bottom. The game window itself is shaped as a large T and the colors and looks of the blocks can be changed in the settings. The difficulty level can be changed with a slider.
To navigate between game, settings and scores or to rest the game a mouse is needed, while game play itself is exclusively with the 4 arrow keys. As with all falling blocks games speed becomes more important as the blocks begin to stack up. So if played with SwitchXS the user needs to be a reasonably fast scanner and use a custom scan panel that does not have too many other buttons than the arrow keys and basic mouse functions. For dwell clickers the dwell time should be relatively short, for direct select users playing with an on-screen keyboard speed of the game should not be a problem.
Tico is available for Mac OS X 10.2 and later and for Windows.
